Thoughts

I have been a father for 9 months today. Our pastor started a sermon series yesterday called Generation GAP. Thoughout his sermon (although it just being an introduction to the series) I kept thinking about songs that would make good sermon titles. I grew up with Audio Adrenaline, DC Talk, Carmen, 4 HIM ect. Pastor kept mentioning about he was was born for this moment in time, all I could think of was the song Right here, right now and Time is tick'n away by DC Talk and my turn now by Steven Curtis Chapman. I have to wonder as my father stated yesterday what type of world am I going to leave for my daughter and the next generation to grow up in. this entry may have been jumbled with alot of thoughts that don't make sense to some but they do to me. I can't wait to see where this sermon series leads our church

My Background

I will start this blogging experience by telling you a little about myself. I was born in West Virginia in 1979. I developed a medical condition early in my childhood which gave me tremendous headaches after some run around from the medical community they figured it out and I had life saving surgery at the age of 8 weeks old. I grew up in a christian home with strong believers as parents. I am the oldest of two. I have has two surgeries since to correct the problem, the most recent was in 2002. I attended college at Liberty University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Religion with a concentration in youth ministry. I am married to a woman from PA, which is a little ironic because if you know anything about college football and the rivalry between WV and Pitt those two don't mix. I have been married for almost 3 yrs and I have an eight month old daughter
